The UT System Travel Program Administrator recently announced the following: 

To address the need for hotel accommodations in the downtown Austin area during legislative session, the Omni Austin Downtown and the Radisson Hotel and Suites Austin are offering last room availability in the standard-deluxe or standard room category at the $80 state per diem rate to U.T. employees, guests and consultants traveling on official business. 

    
Omni Austin Downtown 

Rates are not available if the hotel is sold out or on the following dates: 

March 12-16 
May 30-31 
October 3-4 
October 31 
November 1

Preferred Rate for a Standard Deluxe Room - $80 per night single occupancy (no charge for spouse in same room). 

Caller/reservation request must refer to The University of Texas System Preferred Rate

Call Omni Central Reservations at 1-800-THE-OMNI 

All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card. Guaranteed room reservations must be cancelled by 12 p.m. the day of arrival or a one-night room and tax fee will be charged to the credit card. 

   
Radisson Hotel and Suites Austin 

Rates are not available if the hotel is sold out or on the following dates: 

February 26-27 
March 12-15 
May 16-17 
August 30-31 
September 12-13 
September 26-27 
October 31 
November 1 
November 14-15

Preferred Rate is $80 single occupancy, $120 double occupancy, $130 triple occupancy and $140 quadruple occupancy. 

Caller/reservation request must refer to The University of Texas System preferred rate noting Access Code/Corporate ID number of 77863. 

All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card. Guaranteed room reservations must be cancelled by 6 p.m. on the day of arrival or a one-night room and tax fee will be charged to the credit card.
