PARKING
Campus
Police
is located in the Cavalry Building and is open 24 hours a day, every
day of the year.
Every non-UTB/TSC vehicle brought onto campus by visitors,
students, staff or faculty needs a parking permit.
The
permit allows access to park on
a UTB/TSC parking lot. It does not
guarantee a parking space.
-
First
requirement is vehicle information: Current License plate, make, model,
year, and color.
-
Students
need to bring two picture IDs. UTB/TSC ID and [Drivers License or
Texas ID].
-
Statement
of Charges. Make sure that $20.00 in parking fees is marked on the
statement. If it is not marked then you have not paid for a parking
permit. Students also need to verify and correct (if necessary) the
address printed on the statement at Enrollment Office T-105.
-
Staff
and Faculty, if you are picking up a semester permit, you need to
bring $20.00 cash or check or receipt from the Business Office to
Campus Police. If you are also a student and the permit was paid with
your tuition Step 3 instead of Step 4 applies to you.
-
The
most important thing you need to do, is to come and pickup the permit
to place in the vehicle. If you paid for a permit but, did not pick
it up, it does not mean that you are allowed to bring a vehicle to
campus.
A reminder: Vehicles without a
visible permit will be fined. The permit has to hang facing forward
from the rearview mirror. If you do not have a mirror you need to attach
the permit to the front window at the same location the mirror should
be placed.
IT
IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CORRECTLY DISPLAY
THE PERMIT EVERY TIME YOU BRING A VEHICLE TO CAMPUS
Parking
and traffic citations may be appealed in writing within 10 days from
the date of citation by filing a Citation Appeals form with the UTB/TSC
Campus Police Department.
