Annual Enrollment 2007

The Annual Enrollment Period for benefits is July 1–31

Image of clipboard with checkmarkIf you are a benefits-eligible employee, you can select your benefits for the new plan year (September 1, 2007 – August 31, 2008) during this period of time. If you are a current UT Flex participant, you must renew your enrollment in the UT Flex plan and select the debit card user option (if interested) during Annual Enrollment. If you fail to make a UT Flex election in July, your participation in the UT Flex Plan and debit card user option will automatically end on August 31, 2007.

On Saturday, June 30, you received an Annual Enrollment Coverage Option Letter by email with important information about your benefits from The University of Texas Office of Employee Benefits. Employees without a valid email address on file will receive a paper packet in the mail.

Your Annual Enrollment Coverage Option Letter contains your current benefits information, your benefit options for the new plan year, a link to the UT Touch Online Enrollment System, and a Personal Identification Number you can use to logon to UT Touch to make your benefit selections for the new plan year in July.

In light of continued concerns about Social Security Number (SSN) usage, the UT System Office of Employee Benefits has created a unique Benefits ID number for all employees and retirees covered by a UT group insurance plan. You will be able to use your BID to access UT Touch, and it will be used by most vendors on their ID cards and web pages. Be sure to read the June newsletter from the UT System Office of Employee Benefits for more information about the new BID number and Annual Enrollment.
