- Attend State Mandated training
- Read the Handbook of Operating Procedures (HOOP) policies that pertain to you, your job function and those of your employees
- Read all other material under management
- Attend all modules of the Management Program
- Attend training on Performance Review (our annual staff evaluation process)
- Attend training on Exceptional Merit (our annual procedure to obtain a raise)
- Get a list of contact people in Human Resources, the Budget Office and the Business Office
- Ask, if you don’t know!
- Sit on committees to network
