  • Attend New Employee Orientation
  • Attend State Mandated training
  • Read the Handbook of Operating Procedures (HOOP) policies that pertain to you, your job function and those of your employees
  • Read all other material under management
  • Attend all modules of the Management Program
  • Attend training on Performance Review (our annual staff evaluation process)
  • Attend training on Exceptional Merit (our annual procedure to obtain a raise)
  • Get a list of contact people in Human Resources, the Budget Office and the Business Office
  • Ask, if you don’t know!
  • Sit on committees to network
