EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS

An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is just what it sounds like - assistance for employees. An EAP provides confidential, professional assistance to help employees and members of their households resolve problems that affect their personal lives or job performance.

EAP has contracted with the University of Texas Employee Assistance Program (UTEAP) whose staff is specialized in helping people identify their problems, offer guidance, and locate resources when necessary.

Any problem that troubles you, gets out-of-hand or reduces your ability to concentrate can be brought to EAP at no cost to you. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Family Problems
  • Marital relationships
  • Illness or death of a loved one
  • Conflict with co-workers
  • Teen issues
  • Stress
  • Tax/IRS questions
  • College tuition funds
  • Credit advise
  • Divorce and family matters
  • Child support
  • Wills and probate

EAP is strictly confidential and operates best on a voluntary basis. It is designed to allow employee and their family members to seek help on their own. Visits to the program office to determine the nature of the problem and what course of action is needed to resolve it are totally free. Simply call 1-800-346-3549 to schedule your free, confidential appointment with an assessment and referral counselor.
