Summer Session II 2008

The Tuition Assistance application period for Summer Session II 2008 is from Wednesday, May 28, 2008 (8:00 a.m.) to Friday, May 30, 2008 (5:00 p.m.) The application period is short since funds are extremely limited.

NOTICE:
Please note that you need to answer "Yes" to all of the following questions in order to qualify for tuition assistance:
  1. Am I a UTB/TSC full-time employee and currently have been hired for at least 12 consecutive months?
  2. Will I receive credit hours for taking the course?
  3. Will I get a letter grade, not “S”, “P” or “K”?
  4. Is my Grade Point Average (GPA) at least 2.0?
  5. Is my completion rate at least 70%?
  6. Do I have a current Staff Review and Development performance review (evaluating my performance in the calendar year 2007) on file in the Human Resources Office?
  7. Have I completed my state mandated training on our online training system, The Training Post?
  8. Have I been approved for less than six (6) credit hours of tuition assistance this fiscal year?
  9. If I took classes in Spring 2008, did I successfully complete all my courses (I did not withdraw)?

Forms will be accepted by walk-in (Cortez 129) or readable fax (882-7476). Assistance is awarded in a first-come, first-serve basis. No applications will be accepted before or after the designated periods. Please use the revised November 2007 Tuition Assistance Application found below:

For any questions concerning Employee Tuition Assistance, please contact Lynne Depeault in the Human Resources Office at 882-6530. All applicants will be notified as soon as a final decision is made concerning approval.
