BODY MASS INDEX

Body Mass Index is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both adult men and women. If you want to avoid heart disease, stroke or diabetes, one should pay attention to the measure of general fitness: BMI. A serious bodybuilder may have a higher BMI and still be healthy. However, even bodybuilders are in trouble once their BMI approaches 30.
