Benefits Review

Please review your check stub carefully for the month of October.  The benefits you selected for the period of September 1, 2001 thru August 31, 2002 are listed on your OCTOBER 1 PAYROLL CHECK. If you believe your coverage information is incorrect or if you have any questions, please contact Christina Logan at extension 8809 immediately.

Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Texas has issued new ID cards to current and new members.  Members and their covered dependents should use the cards to obtain health insurance benefits starting September 1, 2001.  Information on the prescription drug program plan administrator, PAID Prescriptions, is also listed at the bottom of the card, and can be used by members to obtain prescription drugs from the retail pharmacy.  Should you have any questions, please call the toll free customer service number on the back of your ID card or contact Human Resources at extension 8809. 

The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College Handbook Of Operating Procedures (HOOP) can be viewed online at http://ntmain.utb.edu/iperez/TOFCONTS.htm.  The HOOP is intended to serve as an administrative guide on policies and procedures concerning non-discrimination, sexual harassment, ADA grievances, affirmative action, and other university policies.
