All regular full-time staff employees begin accruing vacation leave (or paid time off) from their first day of employment in accordance with the schedule listed below:

All regular full-time employees earn sick leave at the rate of eight hours per month or fraction of a month of employment. Sick leave earned but not taken in one fiscal year shall be carried forward to the next fiscal year without limit. Employees can obtain their vacation and sick leave accrual balances from their monthly statement of earnings or pay stub. Each employee is responsible for bringing alleged discrepancies to the attention of the Human Resources Office for review and correction if necessary. |

Longevity Pay is provided for employees who are full-time state employees on the first workday of the month, are not on leave without pay on the first workday of the month, and have at least three years of lifetime service credit accrued by the last day of the preceding month.
An employee is eligible to receive longevity pay after three years of accrued lifetime service credit. Eligible employees are paid $20 per month for every three years of lifetime service credit and will receive longevity pay increases after each additional three years of service, up to and including 42 years of service ($280 cap).

The last day Cigna Healthcare, our former claims administrator for the UT Select Plan, will consider or review claims for employees who received medical services from September 1, 2000 thru August 31, 2001 will be on the following days.
Employees with claims that have not been processed by Cigna Healthcare are strongly advised to contact their medical provider (or facility) to make sure their claims are received and paid by the insurance company before the claims run out date listed above.
