Allergy or Cold?

Having gotten through this year’s flu season might have seemed nearly impossible, but are you still sniffling and sneezing? Know the difference between an allergy and a cold.

Image of a man being sickAccording to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology:
A Cold:
– may be accompanied by a fever and chills
– produces yellow or green mucus
– lasts 3-10 days

Allergies:
– produce no fever
– produce a clear nasal discharge
– last longer than 10 days or can come seasonally
