AT&T Calling Cards
  

According to the Telecommunications Services Division (TSD) of the General Services Commission (GSC) AT & T calling cards are issued to divisions and departments needing to conduct state business outside of the local and Texas Agency Network (Tex-AN) calling areas. International calls are subject to verification in order to prevent toll fraud.

TO OBTAIN AN AT&T CALLING CARD:

  • Submit a request to the Business Office. Each card will be released only to the account manager who will be responsible for its proper use (state business only) and charges.
TO USE THIS CARD WHEN CALLING FROM THE US AND CANADA:
  1. Dial 1-877-2KTEXAN (1-877-258-3926). Listen for the prompt.
  2. Enter the 10 digit telephone number you are calling (Area Code + Telephone Number) plus # or,
  • Enter 011 plus international number plus the # sign or,
  • Enter the 7 digit on-network number plus # for calls to on-network locations.
  1. Enter your card number (10 digit card number and 4 digit PIN).
TO USE THIS CARD WHEN CALLING TO THE U.S. OR BETWEEN COUNTRIES:
  1. Dial the AT & T direct access number of the country you are calling from.
  2. Enter 1-877-2KTEXAN (1-877-258-3926).
  3. Follow steps 2-3 above.
ACCESS NUMBERS AND INFORMATION:
CARD FEATURES:
To make additional calls do not hang up.
  • Press # if busy, no answer, or called party hangs up or,
  • Press **9 to disconnect from a call in progress (e.g. voice mail).
NOTE: Some voice mail systems require that a message be saved or approved before pressing **9 to prevent deleting it. Follow voice mail prompts.
