FY 2004 Travel RatesIn accordance with the General Appropriations Act, (77th Legislature, 2001), state employees who are traveling in-state and staying over-night, may be reimbursed for the actual cost of lodging, not to exceed eighty dollars ($80) per day. Per diem for meals will be thirty dollars ($30). Breakdown for meals is $8 for breakfast, $9 for lunch and $13 for dinner. For one-day travel without an over-night stay, the per diem is twenty-five ($25) dollars, if eligible under HOOP policies. The mileage reimbursement rate for FY 2004 is 35 cents per mile.
