Business Affairs: Campus Compact
Environmental Health
and Safety
1.
Anticipate issues that will impact UTB/TSC and provide
leadership and pro-active assistance. Environmental Health & Safety will review pre-issue
legislative and regulation news releases and prepare drafts
of University compliance procedures for executive and/or
committee review.
2.
Analyze
auxiliary enterprises and assist in the development of
business plans.
Environmental Health and Safety will reference proposed
enterprise plans against the Environmental and Fire Safety
regulations to ensure business plans are in regulatory
compliance.
3.
Implement Program to address "Bureaucracy," Requirements. Environmental Health and Safety will read EH&S
regulatory requirements and developing simplified University
compliance procedures for implementation.
4.
Implement Campus-wide bench marking Program. Environmental Health and Safety will convert all of the
repetitive EH&S tasks to charts for a month to month
comparison. The charts will then be compared to other
campus’ EH&S repetitive activities.
5.
Develop
a financial strategic planning model. Environmental Health and Safety will accomplish this by
expanding bench marking activities to include all
activities. As activities are added or deleted, the
financial impact can be calculated for the resources budget
modifications.
