Best All-around Department (BAD)

Criteria

  • Open to all departments within the Business Affairs Division (BAD). 

  • Award Plaque housed in the VPBA Office Suite 

  • Honors the department for demonstrating superior performance in all areas, including efficiency, customer service, community service and teamwork.

Nominations

  • Departments self nominate. 

  • Completed on an official Nomination Form. 

  • Reviewed by committee (from outside division) appointed by the VP for Business Affairs. 

  • Final selection by committee.

Award

  • Department recognized at BAD’s annual employee recognition event. 
  • In addition to award presented to department, plaque housed in the VPBA Office Suite. 
  • Presented annually. 
  • All award recipients to be recognized in university publications.

Recognition

  • Engraved glass award “The Acclaim”. 
  • The department name and award year is engraved on the plaque.
