Valuable Person (VP)

Criteria

Open to all full-time employees within the Business Affairs Division who have completed probation and who have been selected as Shining Stars during the award year. 

Individual awarded based on:

• Showing Initiative

• Demonstrating Superior Customer Service

• Performing Beyond Scope of Work Duties

• Enhancing the Image of the Division or University

• Demonstrating an Accommodating Attitude

• Demonstrating a Willingness to Help Others

• Performing a High Quality of Work

• Enhancing the Image of the Department

Selection

• The Employee Recognition Committee will review all nomination forms for those individuals who were selected as Shining Stars during the award year and will select the top person based on criteria.

• Recommendation will be made to the VPBA, who has final approval of the recipient.

Award

• Individual awarded at BAD’s annual employee recognition event.

• Presented annually.

• Recipient recognized in university publications

• Only one individual will be awarded in any given year.

Recognition

• Engraved glass award “Pentagon Crystal Tower 9 inch” 
  “VP” - VALUABLE PERSON AWARD
  Presented to XXXXXXXX 2003
