Parking Committee
Welcome to the Parking Committee Web site!
The University of Texas System authorizes each branch to establish a university parking committee. The university parking committee consists of two student members, two staff members, two faculty members, the Vice President of Business Affairs and the UTB/TSC Chief of Campus Police. The University of Texas System has established policies for parking in all of its branches and the respective parking committees serve to carry out these policies and to represent the respective student body, staff, and faculty members.
The university parking committee meets monthly to address parking concerns made by students, staff and faculty. The Parking Committee is responsible for submitting recommendations to the administration. It also meets at regular scheduled meetings to review and render decisions on parking violation appeals.
The university parking committee welcomes comments and suggestions to improve university parking. Each committee member has an obligation and a responsibility to provide fair and equitable decisions to all university parking concerns.
